Job Description
The position of Service Advisor at Boisvert Ford involves welcoming customers and gathering the necessary information to identify and define their vehicle maintenance and repair needs. The Service Advisor will be responsible for selling maintenance services and organizing the work schedule, all while ensuring top-quality customer service.
Main Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly upon arrival and gather information about their vehicle

Explain the nature of the work performed and all related costs

Advise customers on vehicle care and emphasize the importance of maintenance according to the manufacturer's specifications

Ensure customers are informed of any promotions or services offered by the dealership

Handle phone calls, emails, and texts related to appointments and ongoing work
-
Schedule appointments for maintenance services

Sell lubrication, safety inspection, and other similar services or any manufacturer-required maintenance

Accurately record customer vehicle issues on the work order

Dispatch tasks to technicians

Consider previous service records, inspect the vehicle, and recommend any additional necessary repairs

Prepare a detailed and accurate estimate for labor and parts

Obtain customer signature on the work order and provide them with a copy
-
Monitor the progress of work throughout the day

Communicate with customers about any changes to the estimate or timelines, explain costs and time in detail, and obtain proper authorization before proceeding with additional work

Check the extent of warranty coverage on the vehicle before starting any work

Review work orders to ensure completion and documentation of additional repairs and authorizations

Close the work order according to standards

Actively participate in the quality control process to avoid return visits to the shop

Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Ideal Candidate Profile
You're the ideal candidate if you have the following skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Dealership experience, ideally at a Ford dealership

Ability to manage multiple requests at once

Experience and/or knowledge in automotive mechanics

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Fluency in English is an asset
